finally i have time to blog. since school started i've had TWO guzheng practices and today is only the third day of school. both practices caused me to reach home at 8--9+pm. and things arent gonna get better, with syf and aurora coming up in apr and jul respectively this year. plus, the teachers have lost no time on the very first day in reminding(warning?) us about the workload for this year and the breakneck speed at which it will occur. let's see, common test in mar, syf in april, aurora in july, common test some time after, followed by prelims, followed by A'levels.

ah, 2007, thou art but exciting! i am just bursting with anticipation and eagerness, trembling with zeal and fervour at all the activities you have up in your sleeve for me.

this sucks.

but i believe God can help me through all hurdles. :) including that one.

let's see you do it girl. A's for the A's yeah. (:

third day of school today was a melo day. i dont know whether i'm pms-ing, but i guess not, cos my moods are never due to that. today wasnt too good. i sort of just drifted through the hours. mentally. cos on the outside i appear normal and all but it's a different story inside.

saw XXXXX at the nj busstop in the morning just after i got out of the car.

i dont even know what i feel. it's been so long ago, a year, and i've kind of put all that to the back of my mind. i thought what i was feeling at the busstop was mild shock/surprise, you know the taken-aback kind of feeling, but then it isnt exactly that. in the short space of time (of about twenty secs) i felt like the world slowed down and xxxxx just drifted past and walked away. man it sounds so drama but that's exactly how it felt. i was staring? getting spaced out? walking? i dont know. it just happened and then it was over.

strange that it left such a hollowness inside me even though i thought i didnt care or feel anything anymore and everything left was just a secondary school memory. i thought i let go of it long ago. then when i least expected it, it came back and snatched me away into the past for a space of twenty seconds then threw me back into the reality i call school.

that hollowness followed me around the whole day like a stubborn shadow. plus the day's events werent entirely fantastic either.

it's strange, too, how you can laugh and talk with your friends as per normal but feel entirely empty inside about other things.

and it's even stranger that i feel this way about sthg that is supposed to mean nothing in my entire life. maybe years later i will laugh at myself for this seemingly insignificant thing. :/

jf: hey, haha. :D i think for a living? maybe. i tend to dwell on things i guess.
val: hey, you. thanks yeah. (: i hope the same for you too.
xuan: heart-to-heart is what we need. knee-to-knee even better. remember cu4 xi1 tan2 xin1? hahaha.. we'll pull through man. :)
